WORK WHERE YOU LIVE
I am an artist with a beautifully restored and renovated art gallery home. The house is 3-stories (2,600 sq ft) plus basement with 7 rooms, 2-1/2 baths, kitchen, central air and heat, security system, washer/dryer, front porch, and rear yard and deck. Throughout the house are energy-efficient windows, stained glass, mantels, murals, hardwood floors, decorative elements, and a skylight. A new roof was installed this year. I've used the property as a perfect live-and-work space; it can easily transition into a home, office/art gallery, or both. Included in the property is a separate 2-bedroom apartment that I have rented to Johns Hopkins University professors and graduate students. Property manager has been hired to respond to all maintenance needs. Our neighbors are great - a mix of professional adults (who commute to DC daily) and an owner-occupied business. The house is in Baltimore's historic Charles Village and is very centrally located to Baltimore public transportation, the train station to Washington, DC, I-83 into the Inner Harbor, major supermarket and drugstore, restaurants, museums (e.g., BMA, the Walters), Wyman Park, Union Memorial Hospital, Waverly Farmer's Market, Barnes and Noble, Mt. Vernon Cultural District, and only 6 blocks from JHU-Homewood. Charles Village has a great neighborhood feel, with its own annual festival. The Charles Village Parade and Baltimore Marathon pass right in front of the house. We have great seats from our front porch! RENT: $2,500/month or SALE: $420,000. Interested parties can reach me at 410-889-0921. For a video of a portion of the house please visit this website and click on “gallery”:
